Dear Fellow Speed Cubers!

I've always been interested in puzzles, especially Rubik's cubes and other speed cubes. At a young age, with the help of an old book I found at a second hand store, I figured out how to solve my first Rubik's cube! I can't recall how long that first solve took, but it was likely days or weeks. Over the years, with practice, I was able to bring my average solve times down to a few minutes, but couldn't seem to make much progress beyond this.

I have recently come to realize that part of the reason for this was the brand of cube I was using. With my old Rubik's brand cube, it was very nearly impossible to complete a quarter turn with only a flick of the finger. With use, my cube got slightly easier to turn but this also led to the stickers starting to come loose. Before long there were a few black spots for which I had to try to remember which colors they were supposed to be.

Years later, finding myself at a local speed cube competition, I took notice of some of the brands that the "pros" were using and decided to do a bit more research. I purchased a QiYi brand cube and it was like night and day! How could I have not previously been aware of these awesome cubes!! Right away my solve times improved and I found myself able to more easily learn new techniques and finger tricks. After trying a few more cubes and deepening my research, I had found my new favorite cube: the stickerless QiYi Warrior W.

After coming to this realization, I couldn't help but share my new found knowledge with others who might still be using a slower cube. So I have created this store to help share the speed!
